ADDITIONAL MODEL INFORMATION
If you're interested in buying a used car on a budget, you probably think you won't get much in the way of the most modern features and technology. But that isn't always the case, as our latest list proves. That's because we've rounded up six used cars you can buy today for less than $15, 000, all of which offer many desirable high-tech features and gadgets.
2009-2014 Acura TSX
For nearly a decade, the TSX served as Acura's entry-level model, slotting below the popular and more powerful TL in the brand's lineup. But while the TSX may have been Acura's least expensive vehicle, it was hardly low on equipment: Base models offered xenon headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated front seats and a USB port for music. Find a TSX with the optional technology package and you'll get modern features such as a backup camera, a navigation system with voice controls, and real-time weather forecasting and traffic information. There are currently more than 600 different 2009 and later TSX models for sale on Autotrader for around $15, 000 or less, which means you'll have a lot of different examples to choose from.
2010-2012 Ford Fusion
Although the Ford Fusion wasn't redesigned into its current shape until the 2013 model year, Ford started piling technology into the sedan beginning in 2010. Admittedly, base models were still pretty sparse, featuring only the basics - but options included a remote engine starter, a voice-activated navigation system, a backup camera, a blind spot monitoring system, rain-sensing wipers and even Ford's Sync infotainment system. And while it may be difficult to find a Fusion equipped with all of those features, you'll have a lot to choose from: There are currently more than 9, 000 different 2010-2012 Fusion models available on Autotrader for around $15, 000 or less.
2006-2011 Hyundai Azera
If you haven't heard of the Azera, don't worry: few car shoppers have, as it was often overshadowed by Hyundai's more popular Sonata midsize sedan and the more exciting rear-wheel drive Genesis. But the Azera is very much worth checking out if you're interested in technology and features, as it offered a lot of equipment including standard dual-zone automatic climate control, dual power front seats and a USB connection for music. And the options list went even further, adding an available navigation system, power adjustable pedals, a rear power sunshade and a 10-speaker sound system. If you're interested, you should have no trouble finding a well-equipped 2006-2011 Azera, as there are more than 500 examples listed on Autotrader for around $15, 000 or less.
2008-2013 Infiniti G37 Sedan
Although it might be hard to believe, a budget of around $15, 000 is more than enough to afford a 2008-2013 Infiniti G37 sedan. In fact, there are currently nearly 800 examples listed for around $15, 000 or less on Autotrader. If that sounds appealing, consider this: Even from the very beginning, all G37 models came standard with a push-button starter, automatic climate control, leather upholstery and xenon headlights, while options ranged from a voice-activated navigation system to real-time traffic information, iPod connectivity, a Bose audio system and even adaptive cruise control.
2010-2013 Kia Optima
There are more than 3, 000 different midsize 2010-2013 Kia Optima sedans available on Autotrader for around $15, 000 or less, and that means you should have no trouble finding one within our budget that includes as many luxury features as you want. And while you may not associate Kia with gadgets, the Optima invites you to think again: While standard features were sparse, options ran the gamut from a panoramic sunroof to ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, Kia's Uvo infotainment system, steering wheel paddle shifters, driver seat memory and heated rear seats. Indeed, if you're after gadget-filled used cars on a budget, a well-equipped Optima might be a smart choice.
2009-2014 Nissan Maxima
With nearly 1, 600 different 2009-2014 Nissan Maxima models available on Autotrader for around $15, 000 or less, you shouldn't have trouble finding one that offers a wide range of equipment. We especially suggest a high-end Premium model, as they're the most well-equipped: they feature a ventilated driver seat, a 7-inch center screen, 2GB of music memory, a power rear sunshade and a wide range of modern options such as a voice-activated navigation system with real-time traffic, a backup camera and a heated steering wheel.
