It was pink, so we spray painted it black and bought it a new battery. Battery has brought the bike back to life. Pushing the turbo and gas pedal makes it pop wheelies. Kids love it!!! Saved over $20 by buying on line and shipping it to the store for free versus buying in our local Walmart!! Definitely a good purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by AvsFan1 from Replaced the battery in a Powerwheels Dora the Explorer ATV. Charged it for 24 hours with the original charger and let the kids at it. Worked great. Easy fix, didn't even require any tools. Shipping took about 1 week longer than originally quoted. Don't know if this was because of December/Christmas rush or this is normal. There is no charger included, if you need a charger you need to order a new one. I had the original charger.

When we first got it, the charge would last about 15 minutes... which was enough to give the kids some fun and put it away. We never knew how long it was supposed to last until we started asking around. The kids always wanted more, but never complained because they didn't know it could be better. I didn't want to spend the money on a battery that cost more than my car, but in the end it was worth it. I charged this replacement properly and put in. The kids have been driving it for 3 separate sessions of about 30 minutes each and I still don't need to charge it. Was it worth... YES.
